Dick Eicher - Deceased July 2006

Our friend, Dick Eicher, died on July 1, 2006. He inherited Lou Gehrig's disease from his father, who died of the same cause and was preceded in death by his brother, who also died of the same cause.
He knew what was coming and planned for it well in advance. His eulogy was delivered by his life long friend, Mike Murray, now Deacon at St Thomas. Those who knew him well remember his kind spirit, his wit, his spiritualism, and many hours in his basement tasting the fruits of teen age raging hormones.
